Lamar Slay, Founder & President
Lamar Slay is Founder and President of Partners in Church Consulting, a church consulting firm based in Dallas, Texas. He has been involved with some of the leading churches in America for the last 45 years. State and national denominational groups have called on him to assist in developing and implementing new programs and Pastors have sought his help in dealing with the challenges of their congregations.
Lamar has served on the teaching teams of both Rick Warren at Saddleback Church and Ed Young at Fellowship Church, At Fellowship, he was responsible for the “logistics” of the weekend services as they moved into their first owned facility. He gave leadership to Guest Service teams and was eventually responsible for the logistics of moving 20,000 people on and off the campus.
Recently he served on the staff of Gateway Church assisting them in opening their Dallas Campus and overseeing the Guest Experience and Next Gen Ministries. Gateway Church is One Church with multiple campuses ministering to 30,000+ people each weekend. His last assignment for Gateway was to move to the central office and oversee the Young Adult ministry at all the campuses. His speaking ministry has taken him throughout America and other countries. He is a veteran of giving campaigns, strategic consulting, coaching relationships and helping churches of all sizes develop strong leadership teams.
Lamar and his wife, Cindy, have 5 children, 8 grandchildren and live in the DFW area.
